Naturally beautiful with Salt

Salt hydrates the skin and retains moisture in the skin. In addition, salt has a disinfectant function, making it good for impure skin. The best results are achieved with sea salt, but table salt can also be used for these beauty treatments.

Skin

Salt bath

Fill your bath with warm water (38°) and add 500g of salt. This bath promotes blood circulation and has a soothing effect.

Salt scrub

Mix a cup of salt with a cup of olive oil and possibly a few drops of essential oil. Wet your body with warm water and scrub your entire body with the mixture, you will instantly have velvety soft skin.
Note: Exfoliate a maximum of twice a week to prevent skin damage.

Bath salts

Make your own bath salts by mixing one cup of salt with one cup of Dead Sea salt. You can add baking soda to make it fizz. By adding a few drops of essential oil, you have wonderfully scented bath salts.

Sight

Purifying scrub for skin with blackheads and large pores

  • Mix a teaspoon of salt with some buttermilk to make a paste.
  • Apply it to the skin and massage the mixture gently.
  • Rinse with warm water.

Bleaching mask

  • Beat two egg whites until stiff.
  • Mix the juice of a lemon, a teaspoon of salt and a teaspoon of vodka into the egg whites.
  • Apply the mixture to the face.
  • Let it work for fifteen minutes.
  • Rinse with lukewarm water.

Because of the bleaching effect of this mixture, you should not use it too often.

Teeth

Brush your teeth with a mixture of water and salt to remove nicotine and coffee stains. Also rub your gums with it to prevent plaque.

Hands

Hand scrub

Remove dead skin cells from your hands by massaging them with a mixture of salt and lemon juice. Due to the bleaching effect of the lemon, you can also reduce discolouration.

Feet

Foot scrub

Mash a dozen strawberries and mix them with two tablespoons of olive oil and a teaspoon of salt. Scrub your feet with this, it makes them soft and smooth.

Invigorating foot scrub

Scrub your feet with a mixture of the juice of one lemon, two tablespoons of olive oil and two tablespoons of salt. Your skin will become soft and supple and you will get perfectly clean nails.

Foot bath for tired feet

Add the following ingredients to a tub of warm water and soak your feet in it until the water is almost cold:

  • a handful of salt,
  • five drops of clove oil and
  • a teaspoon of almond or olive oil.
