Pamper yourself with a home spa, nice and relaxing

A day off? Then have a nice beauty day for yourself. Wonderfully relaxing and healthy! You can do this at home, so you don’t have to go to an expensive spa. After a day of quality time for yourself, you can get back to it!

Supplies

  • Mild cleansing milk for the face
  • Scrub gel for the face
  • Facial mask (for example for impure skin)
  • Eye pads with cucumber
  • Tweezers
  • Facial creme
  • Body scrub
  • Razor and shaving gel
  • Body lotion
  • Shampoo
  • Hair mask (for example for dry or colored hair)
  • Tub where your feet fit
  • Effervescent tablet
  • Thinning scissors
  • Foot cream
  • Nail polish
  • Flax seed
  • Aluminium foil
  • Hand lotion

The program of your beauty day

Turn on the heating in the bathroom in advance and make sure there is a chair. Hang the towels in front of the heater so that they are nice and warm. A bathrobe is also a must for the real beauty salon feeling.

We’ll start with the face. First clean your face thoroughly with a mild cleansing milk. Then you scrub your face. When you’re done, apply a mask. Also put on the eye pads and sit comfortably until it is time to take off your mask. In the meantime, you also take a foot bath with an effervescent tablet.

When you are done with this, step into the shower. You wash your hair twice so that it is thoroughly clean. Then apply a hair mask and let it absorb. In the meantime, start exfoliating your body, using a gel or exfoliating glove. Don’t forget to scrub your feet! Wash yourself and rinse the hair mask. Then shave yourself, nothing feels as good as smooth legs!

After showering, apply body lotion all over yourself, and don’t forget to apply a good moisturizing cream to your face. However, before applying lotion to your face, pluck your eyebrows.

Now it’s time to take further care of your hands and feet. First cut your nails, cut them straight, otherwise you run the risk of ingrown nails. Give your hands a mask: put linseed in some warm water and stir into a thick paste. Divide the porridge over your hands and wrap them with aluminum foil. Let this sit for about five minutes and your hands will be super soft again. After this, apply a nice cream to your hands and feet and let it absorb. Then paint your nails to complete it.

Inside – healthy food and plenty of drinks

Now that you are completely clean and fresh on the outside, the inside should not be missed!! Drink 2 liters of water on this day (possibly add some slices of cucumber, lemon or orange for some extra flavor). Other things you can eat include:

Breakfast

  • Green tea
  • Yogurt
  • Fruit salad from fresh fruit

Lunch

  • Fruit shake from yoghurt with fresh fruit
  • Salad with lots of fresh vegetables and some nuts
  • A piece of fruit or fruit salad

Dinner

  • Salmon from the oven with stir-fried vegetables and some brown rice
