Each chakra influences a number of specific body parts. Your second chakra affects your sexual organs, your bladder and your uterus (in women) or prostate (in men). Men may notice this in prostate complaints, infertility or erection problems. Each chakra also influences a specific (endocrine) gland that secretes a certain hormone. The gland affected by your second chakra is the ovaries in women and the testicles in men. These glands are also called the reproductive glands. Ovaries secrete several female hormones, namely estrogen, progesterone and androgen. Testicles secrete the male hormone testosterone. Both female hormones and male hormones are necessary for reproduction.

How does your second chakra influence your emotions?

Emotions associated with the second chakra are pleasure, well-being and a deep sense of connection with each other. Experiencing these emotions too strongly can lead to an arrogant attitude of power. If you experience these emotions too little, you may experience frustration or a strong longing for something you are missing. Then try to be grateful for what you do have. Gratitude helps you experience more positive feelings again.

What can you do yourself?

A well-functioning second chakra helps you to have fun and enjoy life. Any activity that involves contact with water can help you balance your second chakra. Swimming, taking a bath or going to the sauna are good activities. Also make sure you drink enough; For example, treat yourself to a pot of herbal tea. You can also do things that stimulate your sensuality, for example dancing or going to a flower shop or butterfly garden. Do things you enjoy and enjoy!
