Beauty: Nice late summer

Who wouldn’t want that… the summer holidays have just ended and it is still a bit in your head and on your body. How can you literally and figuratively hold on and not immediately step into the hustle and bustle of the normal working day.

Scents and colors

Scents and colors always work well and to give yourself that feeling if you have to get started right away, it is good to use the scents and colors that you have been given. Rituals has a wonderful spray for the body and the environment, but various fragrances now also have it in their range (Armani is such an example). But more importantly, choose the scent that reminds you of your holiday (the scent you used a lot there).

In the sun-drenched countries you work with soft or bright colors. Dress in those colors (style will not be compatible with all activities) and use the body lotion you used at your holiday address or your perfume. Spray some in your environment and spray some on your own body (especially your neck, shoulders). The scents and colors still make you feel like you are in a holiday mood and you are not immediately caught up in the hustle and bustle of the day.

The latter is actually not good anyway, but if you cannot avoid starting immediately, try to limit the length of the day (if possible). It is better to let your body get used to it slowly (even though most people immediately return to the hustle and bustle of work, study and home).

Lubricate

It is nothing new when I say that lubrication is also important after the holiday period. But apply the boy lotion that you used at your holiday address and this also contributes to the late summer. Don’t forget to scrub occasionally to prevent unsightly peeling of the beautiful layer. A good scrub with oil, for example, has Collistar (it also smells softly of the sea) or a Shiseido that has a sea salt scrub (less creamy). Once a week and then rub thoroughly with a creamy body lotion. There are also after-suns that can be used as body lotions. Biotherm has one with a soft shimmer in it, which looks great with brown skin.

To move

You are often more active on holiday than from behind your desk and it is good to keep up that movement. If walking around the block becomes difficult, use the options in the office building. The stairs, the corridors and possibly an office garden where you can slowly get your body used to normal life, preferably in the sun.

Legs

With more exercise you also put more strain on the legs and legs that look a bit muscular usually do well. But the heat can also cause swollen ankles, which in turn looks less attractive.
You get swollen ankles because the veins swell due to the heat and the valves can no longer hold the blood properly. Blood accumulates slowly and feet and ankles can swell. It doesn’t look bad and is also very good for the ankles and feet by raising the legs. It’s difficult behind the desk, but if you catch some sunshine in the garden during your lunch break, don’t be embarrassed and put your legs up. Where they should be higher than the hips.

Remembering to drink enough is always important because if the body does not get enough, it will retain fluid. Drinking 1.5 to 2 liters is good and you can also include tea and coffee.

Makeup

If you also want to take your face into late summer, give it the natural tones of the typical southern summer sun. Brown tones work well and you don’t need more than some mascara and some blush. Some blush on the eyelid and your eye also gets depth. A gloss in a soft pink or natural shade completes the look.

If you paint your nails, use a glitter in the nail polish, or put a subtle glitter on your painted nails. Looks summery and accentuates your tan.
